The Problem

DPF Filters have a problem of collecting ash contaminates the filter and will eventually clog pores thereby reducing its efficiency. Many Diesel Engines equipped with a DPF automatically start a regeneration program consisting of the injections if more fuel into the engines to achieve a higher combustion temperature and therefore destroy the buildup of particles Results in unburnt fuel mixing with engine oil in the lower part of engine and thereby causing damage. Regeneration is frequently impossible as most vehicles are city traffic and never get to temperature to burn of the clogging particles.
